The Cambodian Economy Book

Name: Cambodian Economy Book

Member: 9 Students

This is an exploration that learned about Cambodian Economy. We are the nine students from The Liger Learning Center who are the first students ever to write a book about the Cambodian Economy. Our team working really hard and reasearch a lot to find the information of each sector in the book. The Cambodian Economy book will be distribute to most of the secondary goverment schools in Cambodia. We spent almost a whole year to plan and write about this book. To get the information for the book, all of the students in Liger help our group to go on a field trips to learned and interviewed some of the people that work in the sectors that had in our book. As an example in our book had one sector that talk about Tourism, so 5 of Liger students including the members from the Cambodian Economy book exploration went on a day trip to Plantation Hotel to learn about there hotel and also ask them what they about tourism in Cambodia. Some of Liger students went on the over night trip to Kep and Kompot learn about many different kind of sector in Cambodia such as Crab seller, Fishery, Salt farm, Hotel, Kompot Peper and Bird nest factory. Over all I am very proud of myself that I can be one of the author for this book. Thank to Jeff that create this exploration if we don’t have this exploration I tink I will don’t know anything about the Economy in Cambodia. I am very appreciate to all of the members who help to write the book we all are increadible students and I think we are the first students ever to write the Cambodian Economy book.

Changing Cambodia 2014-2015

Problems: In Cambodia there are many big problems that effect to the country and effect to people that live in Cambodia. One problem that I have seen that is happening in Cambodia right now and it a big problem in Cambodia is the kids don’t have enough education. If people don’t have enough education it is one of the big problems that we need to think about for our country because if we don’t have education Cambodia might be undeveloped if we don’t have smarts people and the educated people. Some reasons that make Cambodian don’t have enough education are

1. They are poor 2. Not go to school 3. Their family don’t let them to go to study
4. The teachers didn’t focus to the students 5. There are corruption in schoo 6. There were a violence in school or at home. All of this reason is really important to understand about why Cambodia still don’t have enough education. One more things is because Cambodia was having Khmer Rouge that these problem is a huge problem for Cambodia then after that finished we had lost our human resources in Cambodia.

Solutions:
Some baby step that I use in school are 1. Higher the salary for the teachers 2. Teach students in differents style 3. Reducing violence in school 4. Making a rule that is helping students to come to study more. These is the baby step that use in family are 1. Encourage the kids to go to study 2.Reducing violence in family 3.Focus to the kids when they are go to school 4.Teach them more when they are come back from school or review them what they have been learn.

Have I change Cambodia?
For this year I have not change Cambodia but I been helping and studied the topic that how to improve education in Cambodia. This project is help me to think about my country because education in Cambodia is very important so it making me thinking that a lot.
But for this year I’ve been working on The Cambodian Economy book really hard. So when this book publish the kids in the government in Cambodia is going to read this so I also making a small change for Cambodia and this also improve the Education for Cambodia.

Have I shared anything to the other people about this problem?
This year I have shared about this ideas in FLL competition in Singapore. Sharation at Development Innovation (DI).

Ideas: I think when Cambodia start to do this steps I think Cambodia will be developed in the future. As I am Cambodian citizen I really want to develop my country to be one of the brighter country in the world. I think this change is a really big change to change Cambodia but if I can change this problem step by step I think Cambodia will be a brighter country and one of the standard country in the world.

Changing Cambodia 2013-2014

In 2 years ago I had studied a lot of topics. When I studied the new things I think is can help Cambodia country and can help the people in Cambodia. The exploration that I was study is really help me to studied how to change Cambodia and to help Cambodia to be a good country all over the world. In exploration that I had change or I have been developing Cambodia is Renewable Energy and Leadership. I have changed Cambodia this year because of Renewable Energy exploration. Renewable Energy is to study about the solar things and biodigester.How do I changed Cambodia this year? Before I can changed Cambodia this year my group need to write the proposal about biodigester for American students to study about biodigester. For many weeks American school gave us a money and those money we not keep for pay somethings else we take all of those maney to get it to two places in Kompongsperu province. One place is Camkid school and another one is Hap is a organization . We gave them the money to help them to make biodigester. The reason we wanted to help this school and this organization because there place is pool and don’t have enough money. That is some of the information that about Renewable Energy group. When I studied Leader Ship I think is really interesting for me. In Leader Ship we were study about elelectricity. Why electricity can help me to change Cambodia. Electricity help my Leader Ship group to be safety from electricity. Electricity is really important for the people in Cambodia.We really like to help people in Cambodia because in the present tence most of the people is get shock by electricity so we need to help them from get shock. We help the people in Cambodia by go into province. We went to 2 difference province that we went to one is Takeo province and two is Kep. This two province is help us to study alot and study how to teach other people. It is really help full for the kids in Cambodia to change there life. All of those ideas help me to study and change Cambodia. I think I can change Cambodia because I have all those things and by my trying and my thinking and because of my teachers.
